I’ve worked with Ravi a couple of times, first when he was integration manager for a new Shell upstream solution with downstream large plant maintenance capabilities in Doha. Starting a large SAP consolidation and process transformation at Post Office I reached out to Ravi who joined to lead the most critical SAP Functional team. Whilst our initial intention was to use SD, FI and CO in the end our scenario mapped more closely to an obscure, little used module called “Agency Business”. He and his team had to pick up this module for which we could only obtain occasional SAP expert assistance, prototype our processes, design/build/test the solution then help us ensure it would perform at Post Office levels.
He’s a fantastic person to have around, positive, can-do, technically astute, business focused and I really enjoy working with him.

I worked with Ravi for 2 years at BAT in both the Western Europe and Americas regional data teams, where he was responsible for managing both the master and transactional Finance data (for 58 markets in total). Across this period, Ravi planned, coordinated and executed 6 cutovers for the transactional finance objects. For the master data, he was tasked with collecting the data from the markets and ensuring their load into the target system, fixing any issues and validating the success of the loads. At all times, Ravi had a clear plan which was transparent and precise. He managed stakeholders effectively and responded to any issues efficiently. On a project of the scale and size of TaO, this made Ravi a valuable asset to have within the team and on a personal level was a pleasure to work with.
